Figures are supplier specifications for the film. IRR is not a total solar energy rejection (TSER) rating. Finished glass performance and suitability depend on the glass and installation. Ask your installer to confirm the appropriate film for your vehicle and location.
About this film.
A dark tint with a slightly lighter view than AN15
AN20 offers 18% visible light transmission (VLT), giving it slightly higher light transmission than AN15. It is a dark option for buyers comparing privacy, appearance and the amount of visible light passing through the film. Supplied as a 1.52 m × 30 m full roll for professional automotive window-film installation.
Product advantages
- Ceramic heat control. The ceramic film is designed to reduce transmitted infrared energy and improve comfort in sunlit cabins. AN20 has a supplier-listed 93% IRR. IRR measures infrared rejection, not total solar energy rejection (TSER).
- 99% UV rejection. Helps reduce ultraviolet exposure through treated glass, including UV exposure to seats, dashboards and interior trim. UV is one contributor to interior fading and ageing.
- Optical clarity. The supplier specifies a high-transmission base film and a uniform adhesive layer to support a clear view with low haze. Tint darkness still affects how much light reaches the cabin.
- Low-reflection appearance. A low-reflection design offers a subtle glass finish, with different VLT options to match your preferred balance of light transmission and privacy.
- Signal-friendly ceramic design. The supplier lists electronic signal compatibility as an AN Series feature, intended for use alongside in-vehicle electronic devices.
- Durability-focused construction. The series is designed for ageing resistance and colour stability during everyday sun exposure.
Is AN20 the right tint for your project?
Choose AN20 when you prefer a dark tint with slightly more visible light transmission than AN15. Its supplier-listed IRR is 93%; compare this specific figure rather than assuming every AN model has the same infrared rejection.

Choosing and installing your film
Film VLT is not the same as the final light transmission of film installed on glass. Ask your installer to check the existing glass, intended window position and applicable requirements. Darker films can reduce visibility at night or in poor weather; privacy also varies with the light inside and outside the vehicle.
Features and figures are based on the supplier's AN Series product information. Performance depends on the glass and installation. Contact sales@prime-wraps.com for help comparing the models and confirming project suitability.
